Park Days
Sunday we got to go to the park for a while, two different parks actually. It may be one of the last nice days around here, so I'm glad we got to enjoy it. I'm not looking forward to being stuck in the house during winter. I know there are things to do during the winter, but I go crazy without fresh air!
I went on a rant at the first one after my son kept finding beer bottles all over. So, we left and we to another. It makes me crazy that people can't respect our parks, and help keep them clean. That's a whole different post though!
We had every intention on feeding the geese at the first park, until I seen the signs saying that we can no longer do that! Also, most of the geese have flown south I think, because there were only like 5 there, so we skipped that and had fun playing!
They had fun playing on the swings! Upside down Noodle!
My nugget and his goofy expressions!
My cheese ball niece!
He is a monkey and climbs on everything!
Goofy Noodle!
At the second park, he was only interested in the wood chips!

Happy Birthday Noodle!
Today my baby is 5 years old! As hard as it is for me to believe, it's true lol! We had her birthday party yesterday at Fun Run, and they definitely had fun! She got an enormous amount of presents and I'm still trying to figure out where to put them all! Her Papa went a little over board, and we were opening presents for like 30 minutes. I guess that's what happens when Papa's retire and have not much else to do - but shop! She left a very happy and very tired girl. I think I got a glimpse into her teen years today. She was in her room on her bed, listening to music and drawing. When I went in she wanted me out! "Get outta here mom, I'm listing to Hannah Montana!" Lovely! She's growing up so fast!
She picked out the cake!
I wonder what their conversation was!
She was concentrating very hard while opening presents!!
Nugget had fun too!
Mcbaby (my niece) was tired, but she did like the sunglasses!
Today I took cupcakes up to her school, and we had a little party there too. It's so cute seeing her with her classmates! My camera died or I would have taken pics there too. She is learning so much in school, I'm so glad I went ahead with preschool. She comes home everyday with a new song she has learned, and a new story about her teacher! She loves going to school, I hope that continues! They are working on letters, and she has learned all the way up to letter E so far.
Happy Birthday Baby! I love you!!

About Mom2anutball!
My blog has no theme. I don't know if that really means anything or not. Maybe I don't have a theme because I'm not sure where I want to go with it. I started this blog back in January because I love entering blog giveaways, and I thought it would be a great place to keep track of them, and let others know about all the great giveaways I found. It's turned into more than that in the last few months. Now, I'm hosting giveaways every now and then, and it's a place for me to get things off my chest, or just to "talk" about some of the crazy things that happen in everyday life. I love blogging.
Then why don't I blog everyday? Is it time? Laziness? Other more important things to do? (like enter other giveaways!) It might be because I don't think people would want to read about lil ole me, and my slice of boringness.(that is a word, right?) Blogging is something I love to do, but I don't do it enough.
Anyway, I'm going to keep blogging, and hopefully more than I have been, and since I've decided to blog more, I thought you might want a little glimpse into all that is me, you do right??? Just say yes! :) ... your so sweet!
Well, here goes some randomness...
I love this pic! :)
I say "yo" and "diggity" at least 5 times a day. I'm not gangster. I just like it, and it fits.
I start projects, and give up on them before I finish. I have an afghan that I started two years ago, it's about half way done. I do that with all kinds of things. I get bored too quick.
I call my daughter and son "turd bucket" and "monkey butt" and "potato face" on a daily basis. Terms of endearment, really.
I graduated from an "alternative" high school. It was only 3 hours a day. I had to help take care of my grandmother and work, and there was not enough hours in the day for regular school. Since I graduated I've felt "less than" since I didn't graduate from a regular high school.
I worked the night shift at WaffleHell House from age 15 to 19. I met my first real boyfriend there. He was 30, I was 17. Yikes. In my defense, HE. WAS. IN. A. BAND.
I think of my cousin as a sister, she has been and always will be there for me for anything and everything. She might not know it, but she is my rock. I totally got her hooked on blog sweeps!
My husband drives me insane on a daily basis. 'Nuff said.
I begged my husband for a cat for 3 years. He hates cats but he finally gave in. The cat I got was PSYCHO, now I don't want a cat at all. Nice huh? My luck lol!
I hate bodily functions, specifically from my son. Since I gave birth to him, I have been peed on, crapped on, and puked on more than one mother deserves. But he's worth it :)
I watch Disney and Nick more than my kids do. Yes. It's sad. :)
I have issues with odd numbers. It used to be horrible, I would count everything! If I'm putting gas in my car and it goes over by a penny, then I have to make it 2 cents. I scheduled my c-section on 08-18-08 and put off my induction with my daughter so I could have her on the 14th instead of the 9th. I have 3 tattoos and I think about it every night before I fall asleep. It's making me crazy, and I'm itching to get another! I'm getting better though.... really!
Hmmm one more? Oh, I made a pillow today, and it looks like crap! Now, I want a sewing machine so I make pillows lol!
Well thanks for reading my randomness, I would love to hear any quirks about you!

Mabel's Labels Review And Giveaway!
With this being my daughter's first year of school, I'm sure we will find out first hand what it's like to have to dig through the lost and found! She loses things constantly so I was thrilled to try out Mabel's Labels. They sent me the Ultimate Back-to-school Combo. It comes with 50 Tag Mates, 40 Skinny-Minis, 16 Shoe Labels, and 2 Teeny Tags. All of that for only $39.00! All the labels are dishwasher and microwave-safe. They are also UV resistant, and the clothing labels are laundry safe. You can put anything you want on the label up to 20 characters. Also, you can choose a cute icon for the labels. We chose a butterfly for my daughters, but they have many different ones to choose from.
One of the things I like most is that you don't have to iron on the clothing labels. Just peel and stick, easy enough for me, and even my daughter lol! She had fun helping me label her jackets. They really stay on too, two washes later, and it's still stuck on good. My favorite part of the Ultimate Back-to-school Combo is the shoe labels. I've posted before of my daughter's many shoes, and how she seems to lose one of them, but not the other. Maybe now they will find their way back to us! And again, it's just peel and stick. Simple as can be! The skinny minis have come in handy too, we went out of town to a family friends house this weekend. Her daughter and my daughter have the same Hannah Montana brush. With the labels, it was easy to tell whose was whose, and there was no fighting!(over the brush anyway!)
The Ultimate Back-to-school Combo is only available until September 25, 2009, so hurry on over and get your orders in! Also, they have a promotion going on from Aug 15 – Sept 15 that if you spend $80 at Mabel’s Labels, you will receive a code for $25 to Mabel’s Labels. You can find more info about it, HERE!!
Mabel's Labels would like to offer one Noodles and Nuggets reader a Ultimate Back-to-school Combo!

Crafty Mama Designs ~ Review and Giveaway
I love crafts, I'm horrible at doing them, but I still love them! I'm always browsing on Etsy, being incredibly jealous of the talent that a lot of people have. Aviva from Crafty Mama Designs definitely has talent to be jealous of! She makes the cutest clippies, bows, and bow holders I've seen in a long time. She started out making them for her daughter, but became addicted to making them!
She was nice enough to let me try out one of the Crochet Layered Flowers Clippies, and one of the Spiral Clippies. My daughter loves new clippies, and she was very excited over these! She has worn them 5 different times already and there has been no frilling of the fabric, and they seem pretty durable. My daughter is rough on clips because she takes them out a million times during the day, and they are still in great shape.
Here are a few of her listings that I love!
Fuzzy and Flowery Butterfly Clippies
Criss-Cross Ladybug Clip
Personalized Initial Letter Clippies
Are those not the cutest things ever?
Crafty Mama Designs would like to give one Noodles and Nuggets reader one hair clip, hair bow, or hair bow holder listing of the winner's choosing, excluding the dozen-clip starter sets.

Ouch!
I've posted before of my clumsiness, and you would think that as I got older it would fade away, or just stop. No, actually I think it's gotten worse. In the last year I have fell down (or up) the stairs multiple times, face planted into a door frame, tripped over numerous things, or just plain fell over NOTHING! Yesterday, I was just walking, holding my son, a drink, my cell phone, keys, and a diaper bag. I should have known better, because ya know, it's me after all. I tripped over nothing, yes nothing, and dropped everything but my son. It's amazing what you can think of in the split second before you land lol, I turned so I didn't land on my son. But I hurt my knee and elbow. And. I dropped my freakin drink. A brand new drink. Grrrr. But, my son was fine, scared but fine. That's all that really matters.
I sure hope my nugget don't get my clumsy gene, it's too late for my noodle. She is already just like me!
OUCH!! These are crappy cell phone pics that were taken so my husband could make fun of me when I sent them to him lol!

Tropical Traditions~ Giveaway
Thanks to The Product Review Place, and Tropical Traditions I was able to try out the Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. I was excited to try it out because I had heard good things about it.
Virgin Coconut oil has been said to be bad for you, that was in the past. Research now shows that it can
* Help you lose weight or maintain a healthy weight
* Reduce your risk of heart disease
* Lower your cholesterol
* Rejuvenate your skin and prevent wrinkles
* And much more
I was sent a quart sized jar, and a book about it, "Virgin Coconut Oil ~ How it has changed people's lives, and how it can change yours!" The book really had me intrigued. In the book there are more than 100 personal stories about how Virgin Coconut Oil has helped people, and over 85 different recipes.
So far, I've used it to make eggs in the morning, rubbed it on my hands, and added it to my cup of coffee in the morning. My skin feels great, and I do have a more energy during the day. My husband loves the eggs cooked in the coconut oil, he says it gives them a different flavor, and for the better! It smells great, and don't taste too bad either. I plan on incorporating it into my meals for a whole month to see if it can help me with weight loss too, and I will let ya know how that works for me. I snack a lot, and it's supposed to help curb your appetite, so I'm definitely going to try it!
If you would like to know more, check out this Video!
