I knew that one day my daughter would have to be rushed to the ER to get stitches, it was inevitable! She has my genes, and I'm the queen of clumsy! Not to mention how hyper, energetic, full of never-ending flips and tricks, she is!
I just didn't think it would be so soon! We were at K-mart, and she was hopping on the floor, I told her to get up and when she hopped again, she hopped right into the shopping cart! When I bent down to see if she was okay, blood came gushing out of a really deep gash in her forehead. My heart skipped a couple beats, then sank, because I knew she would need stitches.
So after almost having a heart attack from my husbands erratic driving, we get to the hospital, and wait. I really didn't think we would have to wait so long, I mean the child had blood all over her! She started to feel better while we were waiting though, and if it had not been for the big band aid, (thanks K-mart!) on her forehead, you would not have known she was hurt! You would think she would have learned her lesson, but nope, she fell twice in the waiting room while trying to show off for two older ladies!
It took 4 people to hold her down during the stitches. I felt so bad. I wanted to cry right along with her. She really did take it like a champ though! So my sweet 4 year old has 4 stitches almost smack dab in the middle of her forehead! Anybody know of anything to help scars fade? Im gonna need some!

Oh I am so sorry. Poor baby. It is so scary when kids get hurt showing off in the waiting room is a good sign she bounces back fast.
Ohh poor baby!!!
Ohh poor thing. I have always heard to use vitamin e oil on scars to help them fade.
Mederma. We used that on my daughter's right on the bridge of her nose travesty. It still hurts to look at. Poor little girl! Sorry!
